About Dr. Gaub
I am Dr. Steven Gaub DVM. I have been in practice since 1970, graduating from Washington State University Veterinary Medical College. I practiced in the military until my retirement with experience in full service Army Veterinary clinics as well as Veterinary Zoonotic Disease Control clinics. I hold the following degrees: BA, DVM, MAPA. I hold certifications in X-Ray technology, public health, and pastoral care.
I am the owner and sole proprietor of the practice. The practice hours are 9 a.m. to 5 pm normal business days with weekend and evening appointments by special arrangement. Hospitilization and Emergency care is accomplished at the Pet Pavilion, (253) 983-1000.
Full Service For Your Pet
In cooropation with VetCentric we are now able to supply your Pet's prescription and pet supply needs. You may order most of the over the counter items you now purchase at pet stores, as well as your Pet RX needs. This convenient and time efficient means of caring for your beloved pet is as easy as a call or clik on your computer.

Cats and dogs that do not like to get into the car and go to the veterinary clinic especially love a house call. You may also find it convenient to not have to waste your time sitting in the veterinary clinic's waiting room. You may work on household activities or just read the paper until we arrive. Last Arrangements
Looking for a caring way to assist your beloved pet to their final reward? Many pet owners do not want to have to take their beloved pet to a cold, sterile examination room for their last veterinary visit. Some pets have had extensive, multiple visits for cancer treatment or other chronic, painful disease, and just do not want to visit a clinic ever again.
We come to your home to ease the process for both of you. We allow the pet to rest in the their favorite place, even in your arms. We give a strong tranquilizer and pain suppresser which feels like the animals normal vaccinations. This injection makes your pet calm and pain free and induces a light pre-sleep state. Only after these changes have taken place do we give additional medications or the final drugs needed to stop the heart and respiration.
